Damn I guess there isn't too much interest in the best sport in the world on this site.
My Patriots are looking pretty solid after a shaky start. Brady and those recievers+a legit running attack=the rest of the NFL shaking in their boots.

My team is 4-1 but it doesn't really feel like they are 4-1. I'll see if it sticks before I get too excited.

And who is your team?
Edit: just noticed you're in Phoenix, so the Cardinals I'd imagine.

December 10th The Texans are getting fucked up by the Pats. Probably won't be undefeated by that point anyways.

Yep. Sorry about thieving a victory from you. I have a feeling that if the Cards and Pats played each other 20 more times, the Cardinals would win 3 or so.
But you have to take em as they come. The defense is much improved (maybe the best in the league except that they fall asleep for about three plays a game.) The Cardinals offense is so pathetic though and they just lost another RB for the year.
If there was ever any doubt that Larry Fitzgerald is a first ballot HoFer, wait until they start looking at his stats and realize that except for a small window with Kurt Warner, his QBs were Josh McCown, Matt Leinart, Derek Anderson, John Skeleton, and Kevin Kolb.

Yeah that game was not fun to watch as a Pats fan, but hey good victory for Arizona. They looked fantastic early on, but I think it's wise to be cautiously optimistic about them. And good point about Fitzgerald...that is an atrocious list of qbs.

Compared to soccer and basketball, and even hockey and baseball, American football really isn't a global sport at all. Remember the debacle of NFL Europe or the World League? Apart from the CFL, American football is really just in America.
That's not to say it's not a quality sport, it's just not global. _________________ Finnegan was super bad-ass.

Totally agree, but at the same time I still without a doubt think it's the best sport in the world. Especially as far as viewing goes. Way more exciting than any other sport. Hockey is the only one that comes remotely close. Surprised Europe and other parts of the world never warmed up to it. They've been talking about an NFL team in London for a while now, but that just doesn't make logistical sense. And the Canadian Football League is pretty lame.
Either way the Patriots played like a pile of donkey scrotums today so I'm a bit down on sport in general at the moment.
