Whenever I hear "Karma Police", I hear "Sexy Sadie" too. Primal Scream's "Movin' on Up" and "Loaded" are both sympathies for the devil. Muse don't want to be stopped now, because they're having such a good time and a ball when they're playing "Explores" (okay, this sentence sounded stupid!). Can't think of others right now. Oh, I often get the impression that all Oasis' and Led Zeppelin's songs are other songs too! _________________ "The Beatles, the greatest band known to mankind." - Bismah Mughal

If I'm not mistaken, Thom Yorke has actually said "Karma Police" was a ripoff of Sexy Sadie".

Yea I hear that too! But then again, everyone has taken from The Beatles. That also happens to me with these songs..
Is it the groove that reminds of the chorus in "Think For Yourself" or is the groove similar to the groove in "Think For Yourself"? It's hard for me to hear a very obvious similarity, I don't hear it as a ripoff at least.

Quite posssibly he has. It fits the song well, but I can't abstract from how similar they sound. My biggest issue with OK Computer. _________________ "The Beatles, the greatest band known to mankind." - Bismah Mughal

It might just be me then. I wouldn't call it a total ripoff. The melody in "Think for yourself because I won't be there for you" sounds a lot like "I sent a dream to you last night from the end of the world." Also, the grooves preceding both those lines sound similar to me. _________________

Okay, I guess those two parts are pretty similar. Fortunately, it's nothing that bothers me.
Btw., think you misquoted me. _________________ "The Beatles, the greatest band known to mankind." - Bismah Mughal
