Surprised nobody's mentioned the epic Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding. Best song on his best album.

I wouldn't go as far to say Elton John is bad or boring or anything, but his music is just not for me mostly. I do like Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting best.

Tiny Dancer, Candle In The Wind, Rocket Man, Your Song, Philadelphia Freedom, The Circle Of Life are some of my favorites.

There is a 5 album collection by Elton John going for £14 in HMV right now. I am tempted. Anxious
