yeah I was thinking the same but in a way it does mean that if an album gets an A overall or an F overall it would really hit home what it meant.

I like the idea
The only thing is (and get ready for some delusions of grandeur  ) if say a site like metacritic wanted to count our review towards an albums total how would they decide what score was our official one? this is why I came up with the idea of having an overall score type thing. But it's definitley something to think about.

I don't think there should always be one bad vs one good review. It doesn't seem fair that the albums will always be represented in the same way (ie with one bad and one good review), even if one is universally loved while the other is loved only by one person. But I guess if you do that, then the average rating shouldn't just be an average of those two reviewers but an average of everybody's rating - ie you let everybody to vote (then again if you want your site to be connected to BEA you could still link the reviewed album to the album page on BEA and show the rank and avg rating that the album has on this site).
About the grades.. I'm not used of letter grades as our school system doesn't use them, but I think I could eventually adapt to them. Although I wouldn't exactly use the "F=0, A+=100" system, I think that F as a failing grade should cover more ground compared to other grades. I'm thinking sth along the lines of F being the same as 0-25 on the scale BEA uses - the point is that the grades 0-25 are still only about 1 star (or less) in the 5 star system, which eventually gets translated into what is a failing grade from where I come from. And I guess I see the grade "C" similar to the three star rating or 60/100 on this scale - meaning an average album (but that could just be my sistem though)

Anyone who is interested in this just a bit of fun/could be cool concept: it has become apparent that it is not desired that we speak about this on BEA. I understand to an extent why. If you are still interested in being involved in this concept somewhere down the line please private message me and I will get back to you about where and when we should talk about this.
JUST TO BE VERY CLEAR: This is not me or anyone else leaving BEA (please no one try to insinuate this though it may be a golden opportunity to cast aspersions on those involved). I very much love BEA and will continue using it no matter what. It's unfortunate that this discourse had to occur and I sincerely hope it doesn't affect future matters on BEA. I also apologise for how dramatic this has all become, I really don't understand it...
