After listening to amazing free jazz like Mingus, Braxton, and Alyer Morgans jazz seems.... well... lackluster. I think i spoiled myself too soon.


Don't worry about that, there are thousands of excellent jazz recordings out there. You can spend a life-time listening to great quality jazz-only.
