I wasn't exactly referring to Pet Sounds when I said that. I just don't agree with how "deserved" was used in context.

This was bound to go badly anyway, but Pet Sounds was an especially rough choice for this crowd.

If you think it's overrated, then that's your thing. I guess I think it's overrated too, since I wouldn't put it anywhere near my top 100. Or maybe I don't. Actually, I'm not sure that "overrated" even means anything.
