Please try not to post the same artist for two decades. Only post the decade that they got started in.

1950s: Buddy Holly
1960s: The Beatles, The Monkees, The Mamas and the Papas, Peter, Paul, & Mary, Simon & Garfunkel (a number of others I've liked, but I haven't heard a great deal from them, and I'm not a huge Stones fan, just like some of their songs - I also wanted to include Gene Pitney, but I really am only familiar with 3 songs he performed, and only a few more that he wrote that others performed, but they're really good ones;))
1970s: Queen...pretty much it, not my favorite decade for music. Okay, Jim Croce, too, I suppose.
1980s: Depeche Mode (and a host of others, but they're tops)
1990s: Jesus Jones, Catherine Wheel, Grant Lee Buffalo, Radiohead, and still Depeche Mode (again, many others, but they don't quite reach the top)
2000s: Keane, Travis, Kaiser Chiefs _________________ <(: @ >
