Jamie XX? Vampire Weekend? Muse?!
I gotta acknowledge the courage it takes to admit to hating those artists, knowing that they are so universally loved on BEA. *cough*
The only artist that I have felt strong dislike for that meets with near-universal approval here (and from others whose opinions I care about) is Kraftwerk. Hate may be a bit strong, but we'll call it close enough.

oh yeah I could never get into kraftwerk at all either. and ppl are always like "but you like electronic music" and I'm like "yeah dude I know". but yeah no hate and I'm not gonna turn it off in someones house or something, but I just get nothing out of it.

aw and I remember when hating on VW was just my thing. Glad others have taken note.
In terms of BEA beloved artists, maybe FKA Twigs. I guess I'I havent heard her newest, but I probably wont. Sufjan Stevens is pretty much in the same boat.

Having a hard time thinking of stuff that's pretty universally loved that I can't stand. It's rare for me to hate something. Usually I just feel ambivalent and move on to something else.

I guess this was more what I was going for. I dont hate Twigs or Sufjan, just dont think theyre that good.
My hatred is reserved for the deftones and thats pretty much it.

I have never seen what is so great about the Dixie Chicks both before and after their controversy in 2003. To me, Little Big Town is getting over rated too.

Nick Drake, he's okay though
Nirvana really isn't my thing
Elliott Smith is good, but he bores me
Jessie Ware has never clicked with me even though alternative r&b is one of my favorite genres
Killer Mike, I like Run The Jewels, but R.A.P. Music wasn't too enjoyable for me
Clinic, Internal Wrangler bores me
La Dispute, their debut is good, but everything after is way too pseudo-intellectual for me
Doomtree, their style reminds me of Eminem's worst moments
Dr. Octagon, bores me
Neck Deep, generic "i hate my hometown, i love pizza" pop punk, my gosh make it stop
Paris, bores me
that's it for now, there aren't really many artists that i can't stand outside of your usual hot topic crew

If we're talking about the top-ranked artists on this website, mine are:
-Pearl Jam. I like some of their songs, but overall I find them pretty dull. Out of the "big four" grunge bands, they're probably the ones I enjoy the least.
-I haven't really dived into Muse discography yet, but what I've heard so far doesn't do much for me. I don't hate them, I just find them OK. Very overacted though.
-The Flaming Lips: I really like their music, but sometimes I find Wayne's voice extremely annoying.
-Kanye West: An incredibly good producer, but as a rapper I think he's just alright, and overall I think his arrogance outweighs his talent.
Now, I don't hate any of these artists, I just don't like them as much as most people do. Now, if we're talking about acclaimed artists that I hate, I'll go with Tim Buckley. I can't stand him.
