Your trips must be pretty bland.

Nah I usually take way more than most people. Electronic music and post rock sounded good on paper but they make it rough when my head starts spinning. Burial and Sigur Ros are exceptions. Jazz believe it or not, and maybe you do know, is actually great. Psychedelic music is good but I've learned things that are categorized as trippy are unnecessary while tripping because weird shit happens with everything. Rap is annoying, Soul is good but weird when you're in a room full of guys. Depressing music is uber depressing. So what would you recommend?

Meh, I guess so. I can't speak from any sort of experience because I've never done hallucinogens. Just for me I think I'd want to sort of take the high to another level and this wouldn't be the album that would do that.

Gotcha. It's mainly the silly parts. Tripping or sober I'm not a big fan of Paul's louder songs (USSR, Helter Skelter) but "Piggies" while possibly the weakest track in theory brings on this really childish innocent feeling and most of John's songs double in quality. But that's just me. LSD is one hell of a drug. I rarely mess with anything else besides weed but yeah, if you ever did trip you'd realize explaining things are impossible because everyone has their own experiences based on their mood and environment. The White Album is like a circus. Agaetis Byrjun makes me feel like I'm an alien in some kind of weird water world. Kind of Blue makes me feel like I'm the coolest person on earth. Are You Experienced is like the most positively groovy thing ever. I love GY!BE but I couldn't make it halfway through Lift Your Skinny Fists before turning it off and having to rewind my mind because it was just so deeply cerebral I feared for my life. Red House Painters was beautiful but also made me want to kill myself. I've probably experimented with a hundred albums by now (maybe I should rank them) but those are among my most memorable experiences.

So yeah, next level I go with something like Hendrix or Burial. But when Im over halfway through and to the winding down part, Beatles are tops.

This could actually be a subject for a separate thread, but I guess Ritual de lo Habitual by Jane's Addiction is pretty trippy, particularly Three Days.

However, I do get why you choose White Album under certain circumstances.

I actually have not listened to this album (pardon my impudence), nor have I listened to any Beatles album (please don't kill me) except Revolver (which I love). So here goes. Very Happy

Twisted Evil

The fact that so many books still name Pierro Scaruffi “the greatest or most significant or most influential” copypasta ever only tells you how far trolling still is from becoming a serious art. OC critics have long recognized that the greatest original producers of all times are reddit and memebase, who were not the most famous or richest or best sellers of their times, let alone of all times. Gore critics rank the highly controversial Gorespammer over more notable gore sites who were highly popular in boards around the web. Trolling critics are still blinded by commercial success: Scaruffi angered than anyone else (not true, by the way), therefore he must have been the greatest. OC critics grow up listening to a lot of original content of the past, Gore critics grow up listening to a lot of classical music of the past. Trolling critics are often totally ignorant of the copypasta of the past, they barely know the best material. No wonder they will think that Scaruffi did anything worth of being saved.

It truly is one of the worst on the album.
