Sounds good.
I think we should adopt bonthams idea but also if the album gets 3 votes (best out of 5) it wins even if the vote has only been going for one day. In other words, it can win by either being the first to 3 votes or by having the most by the end of 3 days.
I think we should get going right away. If you haven't heard the album, dont vote, or listen to it then vote, or vote for the one you have heard. There are at least 3 people on the site that I know of who seem to support non-mainstream music (bc1991, mr music, myself, and there's probably some more), so it shouldnt be a problem. I think we're making this a little too complicated. Let's get started!

How bout most votes in 3 days or first to 4 votes since an album could get 3 votes quickly while someone hasn't posted their vote cause they are relistening to both albums.
Also one final suggested solution before we start: For the first round the more obscure albums from the second 64 just compete against each other and the more well known albums do the same then the brackets are mixed for the second round.

I suggest that in this preliminary round we limit it to best out of 5, first to 3 votes, since there are much less people "qualified" to vote.

Also, 111th, to increase the speed of this round, please just do all of the match-ups at once, just like you did two at a time above. That way it could be done by the end of the day or at the latest tomorrow, and we can get on with the poll and keep everyone else from waiting. If they wait too long the poll may lose steam and we may have less voting once it officially starts.
