So you have Hayden's Indie for 16 year olds, so I'll give you the old skool list (aka Indie for Oldies)
Anything at all by The Smiths
The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses
The La's - The La's
Snowball - The Field Mice (if you like that try Sittin Pretty - The Pastels and Dum-Dum - The Vaselines)
Bizarro - The Wedding Present
Psychocandy - The Jesus and Mary Chain
Off the Bone - The Cramps - I truly believe the world would be a better place if more people listened to The Cramps
Violent Femmes - Violent Femmes
24hr Party People - Happy Mondays
Anything by Jane's Addiction (although not strictly Indie)
Key Lime Pie - Camper Van Beethoven (if you like this try Peaceful, the world lays me down - Noah and the Whale)
Script of the Bridge - The Chameleons
Liberty Belle - The Go-Betweens
New Day Rising - Husker Du
Doolittle - The Pixies - (if you like that then try - Last Splash - The Breeders and Hunkpapa - The Throwing Muses)
Bug - Dinosaur Jr
Isn't Anything - My Bloody Valentine (once upon a time Indie was used to describe music put out on an independent label - Creation Records (an Indie Label) was home to MBV - ergo MBV = Indie Band)
Challengers - The New Pornographers
If you like the Arctic Monkeys then try 'The age of understatement' - The Last Shadow Puppets
Anything by the Fall (especially the nation's saving grace)
'The trinity Sessions' - Cowboy Junkies
Babble - That Petrol Emotion
Oh and heaps more... If you go old skool you will never look back...

Umm if you were to look back to the first page you would realize that It wasn't a case of
