I don't mean to keep reviving my own thread, but another actor that is so unknown/forgotten that I even forgot him myself (he probably would have made my list), was Paul Muni. OG Scarface was wicked for its time. I Am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang is phenomenal. Throw in his Louis Pasteur, Emile Zola and Wang Lung and he was basically the most versatile actor of the 1930s.

I've seen Life of Emile Zola and I am a fugitive from a chain gang. I know the other ones are so famous but I have just never seen them. I don't know why. Wasn't he in something famous with Bette Davis too? Watch on the Rhine maybe. If he's the one in that, then I've seen that one too.

That was Paul Lukas in Watch on the Rhine. Muni did however costar with Davis in Juarez.

But he did. #34. And I find it surprising that he did make it.
We had a top notch collection of foreign actors. Just too bad there weren't any French guys (Alain Delon and Jean Gabin fans were split) and the ladies were only represented by Juliette Binoche (Many French women received love on a few lists: Moreau, Bardot, Deneuve, Cotillard, Huppert, etc.)

He appeared in 3 lists total, highest of which was your #3 spot along with a #5 from nutso and #25 from me. We have exceptional taste.

I put a french guy at number two. Jean-Louis Trintignant. This was mostly based on just three or four movies, but what the hell. Heh heh
