Yeah. Not a very good album. Power is the only song I would voluntarily listen to again.

Kanye west with this album proved that hip hop can produce very high quality music ! super great !

That gets proven multiple times every year.

And I'm with the poster who said he or she prefers Big Boi's Sir Lucious Left Foot.

I thought the production was great, among Kanye's best. The actual rapping left a lot to be desired, however. I preferred Sir Lucious Left Foot: Son of Chico Dusty over this for rap albums from 2010.

Sir Lucious Leftfoot: Son Of Chico Dusty was amazing and definitley top 5 of ast year but there's no way in hell you could argue he had better rhymes or delivery than Kanye on MBDTF...

Gawd I hope it takes over the dullish and unremarkable "The Suburbs" at some point. Also one of those album where I actually feel sorry for those who do't enjoy it.

Laughing I'm guessing someone forgot what used to be #1 on their chart a couple months ago.

Confused I think (hope) it was more than a couple of months...and that chart was reflective of what I had listened to most those past 3 months, okay so it doesn't sound much better but it does have quite a few tracks...

d'oh! Sir Lucious Left Foot was an ok album, but I find it insulting to even compare the two Confused MBDTF was honestly a pure masterpiece, whereas Lucious Left Foot was just a good album.

Also, has anyone else heard this? It's amazing Very Happy Best mash-up album that I've heard.

No need to get so worked up, Hayden!

I just listen to music with different expectations. Kanye's record is like prog-rock in the form of a hip hop record, and the star of it is Kanye West who goes about complaining about what it's like to be Kanye West. In contrast, Big Boi's record is just a collection of some killer tunes. I prefer the killer tunes to the celebrity-themed, prog-rock hip hop record. S'all.

He is like Bono, except with a bigger ego

I didn't even think it was possible

And it makes his "music" impossible to like

Ego's should be left to Rock Stars and Keith Moon
