Maybe I should go and count them? Remember that time I posted a picture of them all in that pile? Yes, there is a lot of them.

Where, where? I'd love to see that one. Very Happy

ok, it looks like a few of you have tried this. after whittling out singles and double album double-representation and the like, i only have about 3,000 albums to rank. So i'm going year-by-year first, then i'll extend the decade lists, then the all-time list. i assume i'll become bored in tedium before finishing, but i begin determined nonetheless.

I'd like to make a list of 1000 albums, but in the end I'd just put up a bunch of albums I dislike for the sake of fillers.

I've never allowed my collection to grow that big. During the used CD store era (I think that's still a phenomenon), if I found I didn't like an album after several listens or long periods of dormancy, I would trade it or sell it back. I don't think it's possible to say you have 1000 albums in your collection, listen to, and like all of them. Maybe I'm wrong. Think Of course, I know that's not what this thread said, it's just my personal policy. Anyway, including on my computer, I don't think I have more than 500-600 albums.

Listening to them often enough is hard to do for time reasons, but there are well over 1,000 albums I consider very good.

I stand corrected.
