I prefer Come On Pilgrim or Surfer Rosa, still it's a good album.

Yeah, this album is way overrated. And way too soft.

Albums that are better:
*Thick as a Brick
*Little Earthquakes
*Nevermind
*Bleach
*Pinkerton
*Horses
*Master of Puppets
*Pretty Hate Machine
*The Kick Inside

This sense doesn't make any!

How can you call Doolittle 'too soft' and then name those you have??? Admittedly soft can be subjective but...The Kick Inside? Pinkerton? Little Earthquakes?

Even if 'soft' was a disadvantage (which it isn't, at all) Doolittle is 'harder' than at lest 7 of those you named.

^ This. Surfer Rosa was better than this album.

That's not to say Doolittle isn't amazing too, though Smile Great opener, and the rest ain't bad either. It comes pretty close to Surfer Rosa, in fact.

However, I AM a bit surprised it's in the top 20, while albums like Exile on Main St., Blonde on Blonde, etc. aren't. I didn't know Doolittle was THIS popular.

What a great album. The songs are so desperate to begin that they almost crash into the previous song. The album just does not take a breat until you have to flip it over.

Great album, I'm especially fond of the tracks "Dead" and "Monkey Gone to Heaven"

How is Pinkerton soft?

and yeah, if you only listened to hard music you'd be missing out on an awful lot.

Rubber Soul should be nowhere in our top 50 Confused Whenever I go to page 2 on our chart, I always cringe.

Then I go to the next page, see the Joshua Tree and vomit. Embarassed
