Yes, this is what I meant. I do not mean that the FMJ is Kubric the best (or not), or the most popular film, but it was at that moment (1987), the most visible position. Kubrick's last three films (The Shining, FMJ, EWS) have been made during the era of the so-called video. Barry Lyndon (=peak) (1975) were watching the main movie theater.
