I've always liked Amsterdam from A Rush of Blood to the Head as a closer, but never really liked how big and bloated it becomes after such a nice piano opener. That's the title track's job in this case.
"You came along and you cut me loose" works as a nice final line though, like the track before it shows it descent into madness and this is him waking up from the aftermath.
Local Hero (Alchemy-Dire Straits) it's not song but any way it's the best one.

The only one I can think of that isn't on my chart is Decades by Joy Division off of Closer. It's fucking perfect.
EDIT: Wait, what am I thinking? I forgot to include The Show Must Go On by Queen off of Innuendo. It's just made infinitely more powerful by the fact that he died about a year after it was recorded. I'm a firm believer that no artist has ever gone out on as perfect a note as this one.

Definitely the perfect note to end on. Poor Freddie! _________________ "The Beatles, the greatest band known to mankind." - Bismah Mughal
