Arcade Fire, Ghostface, Azealia Banks...

All I can think of Confused Should be an interesting year... I can see a lot of artists from 2010 releasing new albums.

Oh yeah we're all forgetting the world most likely wont make it to 2013. There should be some sort of massive blowout festival on the 20th of December with like 100 stages and slots for the top 1000 artists on bea.

Hoping for a cool post-apocalyptic album.

You might be looking for the 2015 thread.

Oh I hope St Vincent releases a new album by the end of the year. That Krokodil/Grot 7" was just sublime (and obliverating), hopefully a foreshadow of what's to come.

Other than that, too busy catching up on 2012 to think about 2013 yet. But the upcoming releases already mentioned on this thread do sound intriguing...

It'll be interesting to see how a Big Boi/Modest Mouse collaboration goes. That's a strange one, to be sure.

Modest Mouse hasn't released anything to get really worked up about since The Moon and Antarctica. I personally consider them my favorite band and love all their works, but from hearing the new songs they have been playing, i doesn't seem like their newest album will be one to get too excited for.

I have to say, Atoms For Peace and Foals seem to be frontrunners for my first quarter 2013 purchases.

yes, that krokodil song was one of my favs and i really like where her musical trajectory is headed between her last album, her david byrne collaboration and that 7".
