I was gonna vote for it, but then saw Johnny B. Goode. I'm surprised it's not winning.
I wasn't sure which would win. But I only put the poll up 2-4 days ago, so we have plenty of time to find out what most people on BEA like. I'm still hoping for Stairway to Heaven. I admit Johnny B. Goode is a true icon and the real beginning of rock, but just because something's old, in my opinion, that doesn't make it better.
I thought 4 Non Blondes would be a bad band because they were short lived, but then I saw this: An actually good cover of a Zeppelin song, despite it sounding pretty similar.
I didn't like Kanye West, but I really loved My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and some of his other stuff has grown on me.
A few other bands I never hated but didn't really like at first that have grown on me are Baroness, Mastadon, and Sunn O)))
Back in the day where the only music that mattered was hard & heavy and, with the exception of Dio-era Sabbath could NOT have the hint of a keyboard or synth...if you'd have told me I'd one day have CDs by Prince or Kylie, I would've said...what the hell's a CD?
