About Tim Minchin, I saw his joke about his wife sens of humor, I found it inappropriate but most of all not funny. I might give him a chance if I try to see one full show. I do like "sex" jokes but these kind of vulgar sex jokes, telling his daughter her mouth will be for c**k when she'll be older ... I can't stand. _________________ That's right, I'm an Asshole

Yeah, don't watch a full special of his. Just stick to his TV appearances (honestly, that's what I've done). Note how I picked which video to share, very carefully.
I think of Bill Hicks as the Catcher in the Rye of comedy. Something you should love as a fifteen-year-old and eventually look back on and think, "well, it was great when I was fifteen".
Ah yes, Carpet Remnant World. Most of my friends think it's the best thing he's ever done, whereas I think it's his flattest show in years. That said, it's still a million times better than most other stand-up shows.
-Eddy Murphy's stand up in his orange leather jumpsuit
-Dave Chappelle's white power skit (among others)
-Louie C.K.'s cynical, nuanced account of life
-Kevin Hart's stand up though heavily focused on black culture, his son and being short, is hilarious
-Richard Pryor (one of the best comedians of our time) _________________ http://www.last.fm/user/ptaylor1989
