Interesting thread that I'd like to bring back. I was talking with a friend at school once about battle rap groups. We were thinking of names in case we wanted to battle rap other rappers and he suggested "Window Above". We were on the third floor of school and we were looking out the window.

My name is Ben, and when I was an infant, my dad came up and said "Eh, paco, que pasa?" and I just thought it was the funniest thing in the world for some reason. He opened an email account for me while I was still a baby so that I'd have one if I ever needed it, and called it benpaco@websitename.stuff . benpaco's just been used ever since.

"sp4cetiger" is just a handle I came up with some 10 years ago and have continued to use for the sake of convenience -- my memory is awful, so I mostly use one username for everything. I didn't put a lot of thought into it: "space" because I'm an astronomer and "tiger" was the mascot of the school I was attending at the time. I used the four because "spacetiger" was already taken on whatever site I first used it on.
