Maybe in comparison to other Beatles efforts you think it's underrated, but I think it's pretty much impossible for anything by them to be considered underrated/underrecognized.
I can't remember if I've posted here before, but a couple that come to mind for me:
Our Lady Peace- Spiritual Machines (not nearly enough people have heard this album)
Screaming Trees- Sweet Oblivion
Sara Bareilles- Little Voice (way more than just the one hit everyone's heard).
Anything by Nickel Creek
Silverchair- Diorama (now that I'm typing it I think I may have listed this one earlier in the thread).
Besides The Beatles, what about Magical Mystery Tour?
Hmm.......yes, I'm talking here more about The White Album and MMM being underrated compared to other Beatles albums.
I really don't think it fits the topic, to mention
a critically acclaimed albums like The Beatles - The Beatles. _________________ If you can't give me heaven, Ill raise hell, till it's heaven
I told that The Moody Blues is underrated; But here's an album I don't really understand why it shouldn't be in the top 100 list of BEA where stuff like London Calling or Joshua Tree can fly so high; The Thoughts Of Emerlist Davjack: The Nice. Maybe there's a reason for this: Because people don't bother to listen.
I agree that the White Album is underrated compared to other Beatles albums. It is my favorite of all their albums. But, I also agree that no Beatles album needs to be discussed on a thread regarding underrated albums.
