The Velvet Underground by The Velvet Underground
has anyone ever listened to this obscure 60s album?
heh, i kid. but really, check out the closet mix of this album - basically a much less refined mix produced by Lou himself rather than MGM/Verve producers and it's much more raw and human and other words used to describe lo-fi music that don't need to be overused by me. it's really great. and probably better than the popular mix but i don't really know because i haven't exactly done a side-by-side comparison or anything xD it's really beautiful anyways. go listen to it. go on. do it. _________________

Product by SOPHIE
So many tunes packed into one. Sad that /those/ two awkward songs (yes, Elle and MSMSMSM I'm looking at you) had to be here. They're good and all but just never fit the SOPHIE aesthetic for me and makes the compy run a bit awkwardly and kind of shit on its parade. Love it otherwise though and it'd pretty much be perfect without them. _________________

All Day Long In Bliss by Trixie's Big Red Motorbike
I'm incredibly lazy at writing because I'm on my phone and typing speed is significantly reduced. this is some wholesome twee pop alright. Love the lo-fi guitars and synths and drum machines and her lovely lovely vocals and those sweet sweet lyrics mmm. This was a relisten.

'77 Live by Les Rallizes Dénudés
Started the day (listening wise anyway) off with this beauty. Was a first listen and I was blown away. Beauuuutiful layers and guitars and oh wow the way that the bass just plods on calmly whilst the rest of the instruments are just going crazy creating luscious walls of noise and frantic pulsating beats is just incredible I love this shit give me more

Veedon Fleece by Van Morrison
Don't really know what to say. Nothing particularly stood out but it was pleasant mm hm.
Pop Tatari by Boredoms
If I were to say I dislike this I would be lying because there's parts which are nice enough (the last few tracks saved it from being the mundane thing it started off as) although a lot of the stuff here is just... irksome. Really love Vision Creation Newsun and Seadrum / House of Sun is pretty good too so I thought I'd check more out from them but I'm disappointed.

Super æ by Boredoms
Surely their second most acclaimed can give me some hope for the rest of their discography, right? Right?!?! Nope.

Vision Creation Newsun by Boredoms
Mummy I just wanted a VCN 2.0
But Swede, chick, you gotta appreciate all sides of Boredoms. Vision Creation Newsun is clearly just a unique experience
I WANT A VCN 2.0
TOUGH SHIT
*sigh* 1.0'll have to d-GEUEUWHWHEJWIAH I FORGOT HOW GOOD THIS WAS MY BABY.
This always feels like a new experience each time, to be truthful. The few things that don't change are the images it paints in my mind: the intense feeling of being chased frantically, the sun beating down on my face making my cheeks all toasty warm, and motherfucking JUNGLES. Yeah it's cool. Check it out. Fuuuuuck it's good. _________________

Have you heard Seadrum/House of Sun? If VCN is your jam I think you might dig the first half. Edit: oh wait you said you did. Well maybe OOIOO might be able to scratch that itch too.
