There is some good country out there. I don't listen to much before the 70s. Even though most of today's (2010s) country is pretty awful, there are some good artists/bands out there, such as Darius Rucker and Little Big Town.
I think the same was true with classic rock a while back. Whenever you listen to classic rock stations and the Red Hot Chili Peppers come on it's like "what the hell is this!"
I'm going to listen to this later because I never ever heard it. I remember when it came out there was a lot of talk about it and I thought it sounded interesting, and I thought it would be something that I might like. I hope so. Has anybody ever heard it?
I'm familiar with his first couple albums which were pretty good, but I don't know anything after those ones. And I heard that this one is some sort of concept album about a rock star or something. I never heard a COUNTRY concept album before. I don't think there are any.
