Your favorite album?

The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway by Genesis

Which albums have previously held the spot?
"the lamb..." has been my favorite album since circa 1995. Prior to 1995:

Janet by Janet Jackson

Invisible Touch by Genesis

Your favorite album of the year?
For 2012, so far (but i doubt it'll change):

In Our Heads by Hot Chip

Your favorite album artwork?
i don't know if i have a favorite, but this is the first that sprung to mind:

Middle Cyclone by Neko Case

Your favorite album title?
Nothing's really coming to mind as phenomenally great/cool/witty, etc. So i picked:

OK Computer by Radiohead

Your best friend’s favorite album?
I don't know if i have a best friend. Of the friend i hang out with the most, i'm not sure what his fav album is, but he has been listening a lot to this the last couple months:

Paul's Boutique by Beastie Boys

A criminally overlooked album:
Going down my top 100 of all-time list, i searched for the first album with a 5,000+ rank score. This is the first that turned up, a brilliant hip-hop album in the vein of de la soul or tribe called quest. Philosophical rap/r&b:

The Bliss Album by P.M. Dawn

A ‘grower’:
Again, i went through my top 100 all-time list and plucked out the first from the top that said "grower" to me:

Faithless Street by Whiskeytown

A truly beautiful album:
Talk about subjective...anyway, this album's (even the harsh parts) is beautiful to me:

Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness ...g Pumpkins

A truly ugly album (while the music is still good):
First album i thought of:

The Meadowlands by The Wrens

A scary album:
I do everything better to music, including sleep. I'll often put on an album as i go to bed and fall asleep to it. I've done this for decades. Not that i actually find it scary, but this is the only album that has ever induced nightmares. (After 2 nightmares in the same night, i shut it off.)

The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails

An album you find relaxing:
Couldn't think of anything off the top o' the head, so i checked my favs list and this seemed to qualify:

Unplugged In New York by Nirvana

An album that gets your blood pumping:
Not sure how to interpret "blood pumping", but this is the first that came to mind:

Boxer by The National

An album that makes you happy:
This guy's stuff typically puts me in a good mood:

Feed The Animals by Girl Talk

An album that makes you sad:
i'll go with this:

Heartbreaker by Ryan Adams

An album you can dance to:

Homework by Daft Punk

An album you know all the lyrics to:

No Jacket Required by Phil Collins

An album that makes you laugh:
I don't really have many albums of Weird Al, but he's always good for a laugh AND this is a pretty good compilation:
The Essential Weird Al Yankovic

The weirdest album you know?
Some strange techno, the unicorns and cube's "westside connection" come to mind, but i'm going to settle on this:

Has Been by William Shatner

Which albums have you heard today?
Just two so far:

Ready To Die by The Notorious B.I.G.

'Allelujah! Don't Bend! Ascend! by Gods...ck Emperor
