Heres an example, when I first listened to the AC album "Here Comes the Indian" I dismissed it as a bunch of noise garbage, I listened to it a times after that, and I liked it a tiny bit more each time. 3 years, later, after being exposed to much more diverse music I gave It another listen and was blown away.
You do not have the same musical experience as some of the senior members here. You just dont. And if you want to fight about it, so be it. |
Words of a user who I will not name.
"Look... This is a forum where most members have a lifetime experience with music. Some are nice, some others typical and others... well... they think they are modern freaking Goethes or something, I'm not going to name them, but if you have sound judgement you will be able to trace them."
And this is the non-insulting part.
That's how I view all you, except Useless, the moderators, and Happymeal. Music requirs no experience. Only writing it does.
End. Of. Discussion.
No. "Experience". Required.

I've been here longer than YOU have, frogger. Who are you to tell me I know nothing? AM can tell me that if he ever does.

Silerwalrus isn't really in my like or hate list. I don't know much about him. Only a few other users have ever stuck up for me or been nice. I'm glad I have Happymeal for a FB friend.

I like this particular Jman argument thread because you can trace it to the exact statement he said that made all hell break use.

I'd mash - up two AC/DC songs just to see if it ended up being the same song.

I'd do that with the Ramone's, and somebody already did that with Nickleback....It became the same song.
