Quite good album, but the mastering is WAY TOO LOUD, and that makes it a bit of a difficult listen, and might be part of the reason why some people can't stand listening to them.

what happened is they were a crap version of the verve and they turned that into being as big as the beatles

It was released during my formative years so i was naturally caught up in the hype from the press and friends at the time. Looking back it is still a great album with some great songs on it but it's not an important record and it didn't break new ground or have a statement to make. That being said it had some great anthemic songs like 'Wonderwall' and 'Don't Look Back In Anger' and it's my favourite Oasis record.

his second favorite album is one of those nickleback albums and his third is a an ashley simpson album
