I can't speak for everyone else, but I called you out for being pretentious because you called me out for being pretentious. Yeah it's childish, but I don't take particularly kindly to my taste in music being accused of being a pretense. Simple as that.

Oh yeah, shit. I forgot about that. Yeah, that makes a lot more sense now. Sorry about that. _________________ 51 Washington, D.C. albums!

Happy for you Happymeal, I've been there, it's among the ones that just hit you after a while, you don't know when it will be, but eventually it will happen.
Now go re-visit In Rainbows.

This part especially makes me think you were always inclinded to like contemporary music.
I also find it interesting that given what you started with - you tend to like popular stuff as opposed to stuff with more #abstractqualities.

If you read the first post (which you obviously didn't) this thread isn't about radiohead, it's about times something like this happen. My post was about Radiohead, but the thread is not. People are just making it about Radiohead, which isn't the point of the thread. Of course, I could retitle it, but meh

Let Down and Exit Music are my two favorite songs on the album too! Much better than the overrated Paranoid Android.

Either Exit Music or Airbag is my favorite. I don't think Radiohead's ever made a track since Exit Music that captures that sense of isolation and loneliness that Thom emphasis in that track. The detest in his voice just skirts its way into your soul so well, it creates this amazing impact, which is only increased when the fuzz kicks in, and once you finally get comfortable with the fuzz, it cuts out, leaving you once again with the isolations in Thom's voice.
