Seconded, but at least it isn't as bad as South Park.

Seconded, but at least it isn't as bad as South Park.
The difference is that South Park, while crude 90% of the time, has the occasional moment of absolute brilliance. Episodes like "Trapped in The Closet" or "Christian Rock Hard" are arguably some of the best things to have ever aired on television. I'm not a fan of the show, and it's hype stems from the fact that Trey Parker and Matt Stone say just about every controversial thing they can on television, but in some moments they are absolute masters of allegorical humour.
Family Guy is crude and is based on purely referential humour. There is nothing wrong with this at all (it would be hypocritical for me to say that since that is my style of humour) but it's handled poorly and unlike South Park, I've never seen an episode that's made me understand at least where some of it's hype comes from.
I mean, you probably have clues, there, Blue, if you just looked around. I asked you in particular because I had confidence that you are abounding with clues about the thing I asked you. Even worse is
"I have literally no clue"
Well, do you have any figurative clues? Maybe a metaphorical clue will help me progress in my quest for knowledge about where the damn TV remote is.
