I'd say Smells like Teen Spirit takes the cake, but here are a few that give it a run for its money:

Welcome to the Jungle - Guns n' Roses
Battery - Metallica
Death on Two Legs - Queen
Cherub Rock - Smashing Pumpkins
Prison Song - System of a Down

The Doors - Break On Through

Yeppers. Those two first bars where it starts on just the left then lays it on you on the right. Perfect.

Also, Sympathy for the Devil was a good pick. Paint It Black from Aftermath could be a candidate too.

Deep Purple has two of them as well: Fireball from Fireball and Highway Star from Machine Head.

I'm a big Deep Purple fan (6 Deep Purple albums on my charts, SO FAR) and IMO DP has more than just 2 great album openers Think

I was looking at Maiden too but even though they have some strong tracks opening up their albums, the best work is normally a little further in:
Running Free (track 4)
Murders in the Rue Morgue (track 3)
Hallowed Be Thy Name (track 9)
The Trooper (track 5)
Rime of the Ancient Mariner (track 8)
Wasted Years (track 2)
The Prophecy (track 6)

Aces High is probably the best candidate for best Maiden opener though.
