If you're going to sub in the Pop Group I would do it for Tricky... you know... if you want Bristol to win
the Dallas and Austin teams are as good as they could get, no changes |
Yeah but...
Blue Lines is lame
I suppose I want Bristol to win though.
Okay, do as he asks

For the Salford team, I would like to run with
Joy Division
Black Grape (sub)
Happy Mondays
New Order
The Leeds team stays unchanged
Wedding Present
Gang of Four
Sisters of Mercy
Scritti Politti

Massive Attack is considerably more critically appreciated than Tricky, giving you better chances (I'm trying to help you beat my Dallas team). It doesn't matter whether you like Blue Lines or not; when users like me and Norman Bates see Massive Attack, we're largely voting for Blue Lines, so keep that in mind. However, most users haven't given Tricky the time of day, despite how awesome Maxinquaye and Angels with Dirty Faces are so he's a much weaker choice for the team than Massive Attack (though, you and I obviously know he's a stronger choice than most, because Tricky is damn awesome). comin' out yo mouth with your blah blah blah

Put it in a PM but it seems all the other managers are going public with their line-ups so here goes:
NYC team for round two:
The VU
Sonic Youth
Thelonius Monk
Ramones (sub.)
Put aside for now:
Public Enemy

|
An interesting first round with losses to the big guns like Seattle, Paris and Adelaide (hometown and my nom.) So here is the next round, re-randomised!
ROUND 2
MANCHESTER v NEW YORK
KINGSTON v TORONTO
BRISTOL v DALLAS-FORT WORTH
BELGRADE/ZAGREB v LEEDS
MONTREAL v LONDON
DETROIT v SALFORD
MELBOURNE v GLASGOW
AUSTIN v LIVERPOOL
Great lineups to come and hopefully the managers are happy with their team selection.
