Maybe the most fun album I know. This and Trout Mask Replica are two albums I enjoy because they always makes me laugh

It's funny how my opinion of Aeroplane and Appetite is basically the same.
They're both average albums, nothing special about them. They sound completely different of course, but I think they're both average.
And it's funny how my opinion of this album is the most controversial (according to most people), I don't see what's so great about this album, but it's not bad, it's just average.

The only thing that kind of removes me from this album is how much other people like it, which I know sounds kind of snobbish.
It sounds like the sort of album only a few people would understand, but instead everyone on the internet has spasms over it - not that it doesn't deserve it, but its deeply personal message just doesn't seem as effective.
Still in my top 10.

I have never understood the fascination with this album. I've listened to it several times, trying to hear what was worthwhile about it. Wasn't successful.

I can't figure out why this album is loved so much. It's not bad. I just can't understand why it's soooooo good. To me it's just campfire/folk songs with surreal lyrics and silly sense of humor. Then again I like hair music so based on the ridiculousness of that, I don't think I can say too much.
