I've heard Brainiac called noise rock, but it has like a sci/fi poppiness element to it too. They're straight out of the 90's. I'd recommend the 'Hissing Prigs in Static Couture' album for a good introduction.

Thanks, added to my recs list too Very Happy

Ohh yea, for the 90's noise rock type stuff, you'll want to listen to Caustic Resin's album The Medicine is all gone (I couldn't find a download link anywhere so I think it's only available for purchase on Itunes as far as downloading goes). If you can't find that album, then just try Fly me to the moon and Trick question. "Medicine" (album) is their best, but also extremely difficult to find (at least, for me it was).

EDIT: They have built to spill(ish) type sound. It's a bit odd to describe. They're really worth the listen though.

EDIT2: I wouldn't really classify these guys as noise rock, but since you mentioned BTS and Yo la tengo, and I don't classify them as noise rock, no harm no fowl.

Seeing as we're on the subject of noise rock I'd recommend...

The Hunches - Yes. No. Shut It.

The Hunches are literally the loudest band I've ever heard. This album is INSANE.

You ever heard of the jealous sound? I think you'd like their album Kill them with Kindness.

I've always wanted to get more into french music, but seldom do I find anything I actually like.
Suggestions people? I really like Serge Gainsbourg

Hi! I've got this French chart you could check out. It's got comments and YT links, so you can have an idea.
