So you have Hayden's Indie for 16 year olds, so I'll give you the old skool list (aka Indie for Oldies)

Anything at all by The Smiths
The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses
The La's - The La's
Violent Femmes - Violent Femmes
Script of the Bridge - The Chameleons
Liberty Belle - The Go-Betweens
New Day Rising - Husker Du
Doolittle - The Pixies - (if you like that then try - Last Splash - The Breeders and Hunkpapa - The Throwing Muses)
Bug - Dinosaur Jr
Challengers - The New Pornographers

Oh and heaps more... If you go old skool you will never look back...

Hey Wink Us youngsters have great indie music. The one's I left up there are great albums Very Happy

If you are an Indie fan then you should listen to some of the others i suggested (and the 54 on my chart you don't know yet!) as they are the bands that influenced so many of the bands you recommended.... You don't have to like it - but don't knock it till you've tried it! Laughing

For writing the title I made what is known as a "Negative Translation" or something like that, were you think in your first language (in my case Spanish) and try to say the same in English. If I translate "Recommend me Indie Albums" to spanish, it sound kind of pedantic - in spanish, if you start your phrase with "Who wants to" or "who" it will sound way friendlier.
I think I didn't even have to make this explanation but since I made it I will also thank you for pointing out my mistake.
I will leave the title as it is, though.

And, once again, thank you for "who recommending me" indie rock albums Laughing

Well, I've actually been using this thread and been starting to check out the ones I don't know. Off your list, I haven't listened to:

Snowball - The Field Mice
Bizarro - The Wedding Present
Off the Bone - The Cramps
Key Lime Pie - Camper Van Beethoven
'The trinity Sessions' - Cowboy Junkies
Babble - That Petrol Emotion

I'll try a few Wink Anything I should try first?

Give the Cramps a go - both 'The Songs the Lord Taught us' and 'Off the Bone' are amazing albums.

I also think you can't call yourself an indie kid unless you have listened to The Field mice - Snowball is my favourite but Skywriting is pretty good too.

Like I said though, you might hate them all but you'll never know until you try Wink

The Field Mice seem interesting. Their albums are short enough, I could probably listen to their entire discography tonight Laughing I'll tell you what I think.
