Does anyone here ever say THE HOLY BIBLE?

I think the Bible is pretty dope, yeah, I've read it a buncha times. I'm not a Christian, but on its own I think the Bible could stand pretty strongly against most works of fiction. The Book Of Job is especially beautifully written.

Oh! Useless, why did you say you weren't getting along well with books? Not finding anything good to read?

Well, recommendations are not a problem, many people I know have given me many regarding literature. I just haven't read a great amount of books, that's why my all-time favorites are only four. I need concentration and devotion to finish one and unfortunately these are not aspects I can find easily in my life in order to fulfill a purpose.

P.S.: Has anybody in here read Ulysses?

Books are awesome. I mostly read fantasy and sci-fi. Some favourite series are:

The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan (and Brandon Sanderson, I guess)
A Song of Ice and Fire (best one ever, easily) by George R.R. Martin
The Malazan Book of the Fallen by Steven Erikson
The Gap Series by Stephen R. Donaldson

The last book I read was Forge of Darkness by Steven Erikson, the first book in a prequel trilogy for Malazan Book of the Fallen, and it was pretty sweet. Next up I'm thinking about delving into Iain M. Banks' works.

I'm currently reading England's Dreaming: Sex Pistols & Punk Rock by Jon Savage. McLaren and Westwood sound like a pair of insufferable narcissists.

My personal fave is the story of Moses. I got three songs about him in my rock opera.
And then Samson. For a judge, he couldn't judge a woman well. He really digged them Philistine women.

That sounds more like a concept album. Honestly I have no idea what the specific definition of "rock opera" would be

A rock opera is usually an album that tells a story. Or it can be based on a story. The only exception to this could be A Night at the Opera, as it is considered to be one by many, myself included.
