Well Contra and Congratulations. I need to get Plastic Beach still.
Oh and Exile on Main St, I've waited a year for the remastered to be released, finally get to listen to it.

Godsmack's new album is due on tuesday, and Ozzy Osbourne is coming out with a new one on June 15. Sadly we'll have to wait for Randy Houser.

So far 2010 has been a big disappointment.

Not surprisingly, I'm uber-pumped for Avril's new album coming out in June. If you've seen the new Alice in Wonderland movie, you already saw the single Razz

Apparently, it's returning to her acoustic sound on her debut. Hopefully she won't be ripping off The Bends again Razz
___________
Other than that, I'm into this stuff, some of which I've already posted:
*Vanessa Carlton
*Soulja Boy (don't laugh)
*Radiohead
*Arcade Fire
*Weird Al
*White Stripes
*Charlie N. George (my band's rock opera :O)

For fans of aussie band The Triffids, a new best-of has just been released. It is a great retrospective of an iconic band.

I just learned that ZZ Top are releasing an album called Roots of ZZ Top that compiles all the tracks by Gibbons/Hill/Beard in various bands before they formed that little ol' band from Texas. Interesting.

:O IRON MAIDEN!?!??! WHERE?!?!?!? Surprised

My brother's a huge fan of them (he's going to see them in July), so he'll probably pick up this new album on release.

Anyway, I'd hate to say it, but I'm pumped for Miley Cyrus' new album. Apparently it will have a "darker" tone to it.

I like discover at least five great new bands each year. So far: ZERO. Has the archetypal young ambitious rock band officially been replaced by young "thoughtful" indie assholes parading idol worship, "irony", and flagrant sedative bullshit around like original music? FUCK THIS.

and don't give me Beach House. Beach House makes Coldplay look like the Stooges.

Max, I'm gonna recommend you Fang Island. Really jubilant math rock/prog that's guaranteed to brighten your day.
