Hey so it's the home stretch now, congratulations to 1989, 1993, 1994 and 1995 for the win. While admittedly it may be a bit dissapointing the lack of variety as all the remaining years are within a narrow six-year span, all the captains have done a marvelous job and it should be a great Final Four of teams. Again now for the semifinals the ante is going to be upped a little bit, in the 10 x 8 structure y'all will only be able to re-use one album and single from each knockout team, which is a bit different from last time. Up to Five albums and four singles can be re-used from the playoff rounds, but now three new albums and two new singles hitherto unused in the tournament have to be introduced this round. While that may be demanding a bit more than originally stated, it will definitely ensure the final two years remaining have truly been tested for the amazeballs wonderful musical... variety-ness to make it to grandmomma final match.

And again from this point forward all conflicts of interest have to be erased, so Suede will have to send his own team for 1989 or appoint another co-captain to do the job, and no helping whatsoever Sir Frogger as you'll be up against 89 next match. And while Frogger may not be up against 93 the next round, still just for the sake of fairness if Silver wants to send in another team via some external message it will have to be to somebody else, who will post on his behalf. If he's not up to it this round I have the wonderful Divides as an emergency sub so no harm either way. Again Ill send out a pm this time to all the remaining captains going over the rules again for the semifinals and to make sure we're all on the same base over who's running what. Anyways, get those teams sorted and have a great and hopefully thrilling Semifinal match!

Hey Ithink it's probably a good idea to get this finished before Jimmy's label tournament, so Ill send out some PMs to the remaining captains with the new rules and hopefully we can get this up and running and finished by the end of the month.

Uh the new rules will be 10 albums and 8 singles for the semi-final. You can only re-use three albums from the previous knockout rounds, a minimum of three have to be new and the other four (or less) can be used from the playoffs, and 2 singles can be re-used and 2 have to be completely new. Same eligibility rules, yadda yadda, I think we're all comfortable how this shindig works.


And just a note Swede is going to have to post his own team as Frogger can no longer serve as co-captain, and since Silver seems long gone from BEA Ill either appoint a sub (divides you still okay for doing so if need be?) or if someone who still has contact with him other than Frogger can coax him to submit a team that should be fine too.
