I can't get over that insult. Hang yourself in a coffee shop you indie fucks? Like, what in the world does he think of us? Laughing
I don't even like coffee. Or suicide, for that matter.

Grunge music seems at odds with the trend towards more electronic-dominated music, so if there is ever a second wave it'll be interesting seeing how it's pulled off and how those bands would bring something new to the table. Also grunge has directly inspired a lot of alternative rock & pop since the early 90s, many of which are seen in a negative light. A grunge revival would need grunge and post-grunge to be dead in everybody's eyes. I haven't seen much from Dave Grohl in a while so maybe the time is ripe.

If you ask me, I don't see it happening or taking off the ground if it does. Grunge is already a revival of zeppelin-era hard rock. If I were to take on this endeavor, I would listen to early grunge almost exclusively - Melvins, Green River, U-Men - and build upon that as if it were 1988, but using the technology, production, and additional musical influences we have available today. My goal would be to "take grunge where it should have gone", down a route that would not ultimately lead to post-grunge.
