Nice sonics and well produced. It gets a bit too generic and airbrushed for me to hold up for an entire album, BUT good AOR rock and great singles!
I'm going to start working on my Top Ten Albums of Jan 2023 over this weekend. Also headed to see some Big East Basketball with my girlfriend tonight! Getting pumped for March Madness!
The Arcs - Electrophonic Chronic (27/I-2023/04) (Album) ...

Our YouTube is under two-way pressure.))
I don't see which track you chose, but it's not that important.
It would be difficult for me to choose one hit myself.
The album is like one song, which is especially appreciated by me now.
All the best from The Black Keys plus a mix from MGMT to Eagles for me.

Totally agree with The Black Keys meets MGMT comparison! Due to its production perhaps, I don't really hear the Eagles influence.
1. Raye - My 21st Century Blues (Pop)
2. Young Fathers - Heavy Heavy (Alt Rap)
3. Sang. Squish. <Look there.> A Bog! - Homicidal Ecstasy (Metal)
4. Robert Forster - The Candle & The Statesman (Elder Statesman Rock)
5. The Waeve - s/t (Alt Rock)
6. The Men - New York City (Proto-Punk)
What was YOUR favorite release(s) from the week of Feb 3rd?!
Holy shit! Threw this on as I was making some coffee, and it's simply FANTASTIC old school jazz! Like, if you told me it was some classic from the 60s, I'd totally believe it.
Fischman, if you're reading this, have you heard this?! Would love to get your thoughts on it!

Oddly, I thought the MGMT connection would raise more questions.
The peak reminder of MGMT for me is Sunshine's controversial chorus.))
The influence of blues and country is more - this is my view far from the blues.))
Good thing I didn't have the Eagles discography handy.
Otherwise, I would have spent a lot of time looking for a prototype for - Behind The Eyes.))

At first, I also considered this song one of the best.
Then my perception of the album became more holistic.

Great, great find Gowi!
I generally agree that is has many characteristics of the post-bop and spiritual eras in the 60s but there's too much 1970s-1980s jazz fusion here as well as modern flourishes to say it is an album strictly embodying the 60s. Glad you liked it, though. It's excellent.
