Surprised Come Together doesn't have as much love as I thought it would have.
Also if you didn't answer In My Life... well then you probably liked another song better, but I'll ignorantly say you were wrong.

'Across the Universe' for me. Both the music and the lyrics are beautiful.

I spend enough time being annoyed at how often we seem to talk about this band that it's easy to forget I'm actually rather fond of them (also, pop beatles > psych beatles)

Eleanor Rigby man. It was the first Beatles song I knew was The Beatles. My jaw dropped. The more I listened the more I heard and discovered. Still am floored by it 100%.
Of course A Day In The Life is one the all time greats as well. _________________ Attention all planets of the solar federation: We have assumed control.

Over the years, my adoration for "Love me do" grows and grows. It seems to reach out from post war greyness to an yet unknown future.
"Glass onions" keeps it's self destructive force, while looking out for something still not known.
"She said, she said" still makes me cry.
"I'm only sleeping" though stumbling a bit through the all too British bridge, makes me fall in love over and over again. _________________ "But really, the thing that propels me through music is the emotional reality of it."
