I'm crying. More like Breaking My Heart.

I'm glad they went the way of Walt-owning-up-for-actions-cleaning-things-up instead of him going full psychopath...

Also, that part with Jesse leaving in the car...his expression, that teary smile. Oh my god, melted my heart. I'm going to miss Jesse, I have the biggest crush on him.

Perfect ending. Why would it be anything other than perfect? Best show ever. Loved that Jesse choked out Todd, Lydia died a horrible death, and Walt got to blow Uncle Jacks head off.

Best comment from The AV Club's review for the finale.

"One of the most critically acclaimed TV shows in in the history of the medium ENDED WITH THE MAIN CHARACTER KILLING NAZIS WITH A ROBOT GUN."

I'm taking a little break between tears to write some of my thoughts.

I felt that there was some intense religious subtext going on, of the fire and brimstone variety. Walt seemed to have reached some sort of enlightened state after his time in purgatory. The episode opened with him straight-up praying for God's intervention, and it appears his prayer was answered. Every plan of his miraculously went off without a hitch. He returned as a vessel for divine retribution, punishing the wicked for their sins. Jesse was on his list. How fitting it was that Walt let him live when he saw what he had been through.

I can hardly find words for how beautiful I found Jesse's ending. Throughout the series his guilt had grown to be unbearable. Before this episode, I was of the opinion that death was the only merciful option for him after being imprisoned as a meth slave. But now I have a very different view of the situation. The Jesse that escaped at the end of this episode was a man that had been punished for his sins beyond comprehension. His crushing guilt had been well and truly accounted for and he was ready to start again. A beautiful world of possibility awaited him.

It was no coincidence that as soon as Walt's fiery justice had been fulfilled, the universe conspired to have him hit by a stray bullet. The last villain to face his divine punishment, which he embraced with open arms. His role in the fabric of history was complete.

Okay I gotta go cry again.

And about confronting subject matter, we'll talk about it after the series end.

Well, I was right. Very inoffensive and predictable ending.

I'm going to have to go ahead and say it was my favorite episode of any show ever. Perfection.

Also I saw that alternate Malcom In The Middle ending, pretty funny. Used to love that show.

Does anyone have a link to that alternate ending? It looks like they've all been taken down.
