My favourite record from them. Besides the obvious killer singles, a very cohesive album (which is probably the least anybody, even DP haters, could say about their LPs) that totally defined the period it was released in. I have particular soft spoits for the incredible "High Life" which I admit I would fittingly sing at the top of my lungs in a convertible somewhere in a rich neighbourhood in Miami; and the aptly named "Too Long" whose finale brings me to states of exhiliration I cannot describe. If I'm drunk it's worse.

I used to like this album a lot more than I do now. This is still decent though. I think I prefer Homework now.

This is really good, and slightly under their last one as my favorite Daft Punk. I have a friend whose favorite record ever is this one. Not sure how it's possible tbh, but still, a lot of great tracks here.

Listened to it, thought it was a bit crap, but each to their own. Maybe I should relisten to it.

One of my all-time favorites, largely for having such an influential part in the great times I had during uni. I especially love "Digital Love," "One More Time," "Crescendolls," "Superheros," "Something About Us," "Voyager (#3 track right here)," "Face to Face," and "Too Long." An A+ pop record.

Overrated as hell and well below Homework and Random Access Memories. Veridis Quo is the best song here. The hits are only OK.

I love the first four songs, but that's as far as I go because the rest is kinda boring.

You should.

Discovery isn't a perfect album by any means, but it's still a masterpiece. Daft Punk, even now, have a production value higher than any other dance artist I've ever heard. The amount of life and soul in each of these tracks makes the album sound so warm for something that's supposed to be 'robotic'. One More Time might have been my first 'favourite song' when I was 7 or 8. I loved it, it just made me happy. And I still love it to this day. 'High Life', 'Digital Love' and 'Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger' are all also major highlights on the record (especially the last one).

If anyone (not just on this site, in the world in general. Including people who are ignorant to electronic music) thinks that they came make a dance album with a MIDI keyboard that can top this, cause it's just 'beeps and button pushing' they're wrong.

On a side note.. Why have we never had a square image for the album cover on this site? Think

It's pretty good from what I remember. Definitely due for a re-listen though.
