No album is "overrated". The whole concept has little to do with music.

No album is objectively overrated, but in the personal sense every album is over-/underrated by somebody, depending on your opinion. I believe Funeral, ITAOTS, OK Computer to be vastly overrated albums. Others will say that I underrate them. Neither party is right, but it doesn't stop them from being over-/underrated in the eyes of those involved.

It's all so pointless. It only gets worse when some start saying something is "overrated" as if it is objective.

It isn't objective, and I don't think anybody pretends it is. They're just giving their opinion, and I don't see what makes you think they're saying it as if it's objective.

There are people that claim it is objective! On any music website, there are always people who claim something is objectively overrated.
When it isn't said in a objective way, the word "overrated" still feels much more objective than saying you like something. That may be just how I feel though. But the point above, there are definitely people, quite a number of them, who use "overrated" as an objective term.
"I don't think anybody pretends it is"? No, there are many and they hiding in plain sight.
