I fucks with some hair metal. It's just stupid, fun stuff. That Alice Cooper album is incredible. Nice call. But i really don't see how Slipknot fits in with the rest of these bands. Or even Misfits for that matter. _________________

If this is hair metal...then, I'm impressed. That's a pretty solid set of albums.
As much as I do love hair metal, there are very few redeeming qualities about it from a musical standpoint (outside of technical abilities). It's often generic, pompous and shallow, something that doesn't typically endear it to a lot of people.
To be fair there have been a few really great "hair metal" records (Anvil's Forged in Fire, WASP's The Last Command, Scorpions' Love at First Sting, Motley Crue's Shout At The Devil, Def Leppard's Pyromania, etc.)
One of his better moments. I don't know, I mean, everyone has their strong moments (look at Eminem - someone silly and a little full of himself at times, but stuff like "Stan" exists). I like him, and he has his strong moments, more than anything, it was a joke. He's still pompous as a whole, I'd say, but not denying that he has moments I like him. _________________
