I don't like the taste of eggs, but they are an undeniably practical foodstuff. I'm glad they exist, I just don't like them as an overt and major part of my meal.

I live with a chicken coop, so I get a lot of eggs. About a dozen a day. Did you know eggs can come in various shades of these five colors?

White: Regular white
Brown: Light Brown, dark brown, tan, milk chocolate
Green: light green, green, olive green (rare kind)
Blue
and Yellow.

So, I just read they can be made by certain breeds mating. At my coop, we have both chickens needed to make the rare olive green eggs. I forget which breeds, though. I wonder when Mom will finally get them to mate?

A necessary bacon counterpoint. I wouldn't have them on their own though.
