Chart notes:
"Deerhoof are my favourite band. People are often put off by Satomi's unnecessarily high vocals, but they fail to realise they're supposed to be self-deprecating. Similar to why I love The Red Krayola, there is humour to experimentation which avoids it being some highbrow wankfest. Regardless, The Runners Four is one of their more accesible "pop" albums. Its hard to transcribe the appeal. Its cute without being twee or cringeworthy. Its genuinely odd without being contrived or pretentious. Greg Saunier said they set out create "music that is more than just good music" and they've totally suceeded.Favourtie song:Running Thouhgts"
