Great album, though. I love how each of Gaye's landmark records made me rethink how I listen to certain types of music. The old me would have dismissed this as a cheap commercial ploy -- sex sells. But shit, it's also one of the most important things in our lives. Gaye tackles it head on here, earnestly and with his usual flair.
