posting images

I don't know if I'm writing in the right thread but I would like to know which is the best way to post images here in bea.
I read a similar thread (posted by an_ outlaw in 2011) and the suggestion was to use "insert bea link", how do u use it ??
Normally I use "edit" and I get my images from the mod history.
but I'm sure that's not the best way!

To insert a BEA link, start typing in the box to the right of 'Insert BEA Link' and a dropdown list will come up with relevant results, if you click on the one that you want, it will automatically add the right image and link alongside it. I think this is what you meant, if not here's how to normally insert images:

The first thing you'll need is the image URL of a certain image. Find the image you want on the internet, and then you can usually right click on that image and select an option such as 'Copy Image Location' or 'Copy Image URL'. That link will then be stored on your clipboard, it should end in .jpg, .png, or .gif

Then you want to paste that URL into that chat between BBCode which is {img}image.png{/img}, except where I've used {, instead use [.

that's not from mod. history ,isn't it?
