Sackcloth is one of my favorite re-discoveries in the 1500+ tourney just a tad behind The Dicks' Kill from the Heart and Swell Maps' Jane from Occupied Europe. I even recently added it to my Overall chart.
But, Repetition is just shy of being a masterpiece. It's an Album with a capital A. There's a certain synergy to its collection of songs that make the album larger than just a sum of its parts. That's pretty rare.
Gonna go Repetition here, fairly comfortably. It's up there with The Refused's The Shape of Punk to Come and Faraquet's The View from this Tower for me in terms of punk albums from the era. 16 Horsepower is mad dope though. _________________ 2021 in full effect.
