one of my favs by QOTSA, the two first songs rocks, while the rest can still set the atmosphere in, even that there are some bad songs here and there it is still pretty good. I still like songs for the deaf better than this, most because, even having more songs and more bad songs, I feel the quality that they reached in Songs.... is not equal to this, but this is next to it. _________________ Top 100 Hits you must hear before the u... of beauty

Easily one of the best crossover metal albums of all time. Incredibly inventive splicing some wonderful psychedelic and pop strains into the stoner rock gene pool. The perfect summer album. It takes Kyuss stoner rock out of the bedroom and onto the streets. A tad too smart to be sponsored by fuzzy dice. For that twist on accessible stoner rock, check out their next release Songs For the Deaf or pretty much anything by Fu Manchu.

Much better than Songs for the Deaf. I used to quite like it, actually. Starts to feel a bit dry after a while, though.

Really good album. This was my first QOTSA album. There wasn't anything else like this on the radio at the time, I had to get it. Much more focused than their debut.

Love this album, my favourite by the band. In the Fade is one of the their chillest songs with a badass bassline, Better Living Through Chemistry is also brilliant and was one of the best moments of the live show. Awesome band.
